$750 Settlement for a Motorcycle Accident
Our client was the helmeted rider of a vehicle traveling southbound on Stanford Avenue at the intersection of E 14th Street in Los Angeles, California. At the same time, a station wagon cut off in front of our client’s motorcycle and veered into their lane. This maneuver caused our client to suffer a motorcycle accident on a Los Angeles street.
Our client tried to avoid contact with the station wagon and lost control of their motorcycle. Our client fell off their motorcycle and further collided into a wall.
The police officer on the scene found the defendant at fault for the collision in violation of California Vehicle Code Section VC 22350 for driving at an unsafe speed.
As a result of the hard impact to avoid the accident in Los Angeles, our client suffered severe personal injuries and property damage to their motorcycle. Among other things, the victim experienced numbness and separation of their right shoulder as a result of the impact against the wall. They also suffered a fractured collarbone. In addition, they suffered grade 6-10 neck pain, grade 6 and 7 back and ankle pain, and very severe headaches.
