Nolan E. Dilts - Dedicated Associate Trial Attorney

Nolan E. Dilts

Associate Trial Attorney

Nolan Dilts is a legal professional who has committed his career to advocating for clients fighting against the weight of large entities, and describes himself as a “plaintiff’s attorney.”

“I want to stick up for the little guy against the weight of the government, a big employer, or an insurance company,” Nolan shared.

Before his career in law, the Fredericktown, Ohio native attended Ashland University for his undergraduate studies. While there, he majored in Sports Management, was a member of the wrestling team, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2016. After graduation, Nolan left Ohio for California and enrolled at Pepperdine University School of Law. He was on the Pepperdine Law Review Editorial Board as a literary citation editor, an active Pepperdine Sports and Entertainment Law Society member, and received his Juris Doctor in 2019.

Initially intending to become a sports agent reviewing contracts for athletes, it was during an internship in law school that Nolan found his calling in litigation. He points to a memorable case as being the catalyst that pushed him towards representing those whom the legal system had exploited. It was here that Nolan saw firsthand the disparities of the legal system through the relationships he had developed with his clients and their families.

Because of this, Nolan resolved to be a champion for those who needed it. He also found that he enjoyed taking cases where the odds were seemingly stacked against him and his clients. “I think those types of cases reaffirmed to me that I’m on the right side of the law, and I enjoy that challenge.”

“These cases feel the most meaningful,” Nolan explained. “I get the opportunity to work individually with clients and their family members during the most challenging moments of their lives, and to make sure their experience is heard and felt by the judge or jury.”

Before joining Adamson Ahdoot, Nolan represented plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful termination, civil rights, medical malpractice, and class action wage and hour lawsuits. He has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of California since 2019. He is also licensed and admitted to practice before California state courts and the Central, Northern, and Eastern District Courts, along with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

When Nolan isn’t working to obtain the best results for his clients, he enjoys playing board games, hiking, and camping with his wife.
