$150K Full Policy Settlement Achieved for U-Turn Crash
Our client was the driver of a vehicle traveling northbound on Vista Del Mar in Playa Del Rey, California. At that time, the defendant driver, who was driving on the right side of our client’s car, made a U-turn that resulted in a frontal crash into our client’s vehicle. As a result of this collision, our client’s vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Our client saw a doctor at Parehjan, Vartzar & Khosrovian Chiropractic, Inc. for chiropractic evaluation and treatment of injuries sustained due to the motor vehicle collision that occurred. They complained of intermittent, constant, and moderate to severe pain and stiffness in their neck, right shoulder, upper/middle back, and lower back. Our client also reported intermittent and moderate headaches localized in the frontal area and nervousness.
Their symptoms are aggravated by sitting, driving, and lifting. Physical examination showed muscle spasms and subluxations in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. They also had tenderness to palpation, hypertonicity, and trigger points in the cervical spine, right shoulder, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine. Our client had a painful and restricted range of motion in the thoracic and lumbar spine. Moreover, they had positive shoulder depression, supraspinatus and shoulder apprehension, Kemp’s, and straight leg raise tests.
Our attorneys obtained a $150K settlement for the victim for injuries sustained in the U-turn crash.
