Our clients were in a vehicle traveling westbound on Telegraph Road in the #1 lane approaching the intersection of Laurel Avenue in Santa Fe Springs, California.
At that time, the defendant driver was operating a vehicle traveling eastbound on Telegraph Road approaching the intersection of Laurel Avenue. As our clients proceeded through the intersection, the defendant driver ran the red light and collided with the driver’s side of our client’s vehicle.
Upon impact, our client’s vehicle sideswiped into another vehicle resulting in a three-vehicle collision. The police officer on the scene found the defendant at fault for the collision in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 21801 (a) VC for intending to turn left and failing to yield right of way. As a result of this collision, our client’s vehicle was totaled.
