$184k Secured Settlement for a Three-Vehicle Accident
Our client was the driver of a vehicle traveling southbound in lane #3 on US-101 near the intersection of Glendale Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. At that time, the At-fault driver operating a vehicle was traveling directly behind our client’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. When our client slowed down and stopped for the stationary traffic ahead, the At-fault driver failed to yield to the stopped traffic and slammed into the rear of our client’s vehicle.
As a result of this collision, Our Client’s vehicle was pushed into the rear of another vehicle in front of them, resulting in a three-vehicle collision. The police officer on the scene found the At-fault driver at fault for the collision in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 22350 VC for unsafe speed for traffic conditions.
Our client saw a doctor at Hekmat Orthopaedics Medical Group for evaluation and treatment of the injuries they sustained due to the motor vehicle collision that occurred. Our client complained of continuous headaches; pain and stiffness in the neck; and pain in the lower back and left knee.
Physical examination demonstrated tenderness to palpation and decreased and painful range of motion in the cervical, lumbosacral, and thoracolumbar spine; tenderness to palpation and abrasions in her left knee. Our client also had positive axial compression, Lasegue’s, and McMurray tests.
