$184K Settlement for 3 Car Accident in Los Angeles

$184K Secured Settlement for a Three-Vehicle Accident

Our client was the driver of a vehicle traveling southbound in lane 3 on US-101 near the intersection of Glendale Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. At the time, the at-fault driver was traveling at a high rate of speed directly behind our client’s vehicle. When our client slowed down and stopped to allow for stopped traffic ahead, the at-fault driver failed to yield to the stopped traffic. Therefore, the defendant struck the rear of our client’s vehicle, resulting in a 3 car accident.

As a result, our client’s vehicle was pushed into the rear of another vehicle in front of them. This resulted in a 3 car accident with multiple injuries. The police officer on the scene found the driver at fault for the collision. In particular, the defendant violated California Vehicle Code Section 22350 VC for driving at an unsafe speed.

Our client went to a physician at Hekmat Orthopaedics Medical Group for evaluation and treatment of his injuries. As a result of the brutal 3 car front and rear end accident, our client had severe and persistent headaches. They also had stiffness in their neck and pain in their lower back and left knee.

Physical examination revealed tenderness to palpation and abrasions of the left knee. They also had decreased range of motion and pain in the cervical, lumbosacral, and thoracolumbar spine. Our client also had positive axial compression, Lasegue, and McMurray’s tests.
