$110K Settlement for Rear-End Accident
Our client was the driver with the passenger of a vehicle traveling westbound on Devonshire Street in Los Angeles, California. At that time, the at-fault driver was driving directly behind our client’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. On Devonshire Street, our client stopped for the stopped traffic ahead. However, the at-fault driver failed to stop in time. This resulted in a rear-end collision with our client’s vehicle, causing injuries. As a result of the severity of the impact, our client’s car was pushed into the rear of another vehicle in front of them.
Upon impact, the at fault driver left the scene of a collision without exchanging any information.
The Police Officer on the scene of the collision found the at fault driver at fault in violation of California Violation Code 22350 V.C. for driving at an unsafe speed. As a direct consequence of this collision, our client’s vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Our client saw a doctor for chiropractic evaluation and treatment of injuries sustained due to the motor vehicle collision that occurred. They complained of pain in the neck and back. Further physical examination revealed tenderness in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. In addition, they had a decreased range of motion cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine.
They had spinal fixation in the thoracic and lumbar spine. The doctor diagnosed our client with chronic residuals of traumatic cervical, thoracic and lumbar strain over the cervical disc that occurred as the driver in a motor vehicle collision. Finally, the Adamson Ahdoot accident attorneys secured a $110K settlement for the injuries caused from the rear-end collision.
