$915k Recovered for Rear-End Accident
Our clients were restrained in a vehicle, traveling westbound in lane #3 on SR-22 at a steady rate of speed. At that time, the defendant driver operating a larger vehicle was traveling directly behind our clients’ vehicle at a high rate of speed.
Our client slowed down and stopped for traffic when the defendant failed to stop in time due to their high speed, causing them to slam into the rear of our client’s vehicle. The force of the impact pushed our clients’ vehicle into the rear of another vehicle in the front.
The police officer on the scene found the defendant driver at fault for the collision in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 22350 VC for driving at an unsafe speed for existing roadway and traffic conditions. As a result of this collision, our client’s vehicle was totaled.
Our client’s sustained multiple injuries such as neck pain and lower back pain, which contributed to their settlement.
