Can You File Personal Injury Claim Against An Employer After A Car Crash?
This depends on who you are – the employee, or someone unrelated? If you are an employee who was involved in a car crash and you live in California, your employer has a vicarious liability, which ensures that if you were injured while performing actions on behalf of an employer, they will be responsible for paying for any damages incurred during the incident. This includes your own medical coverage or the victim’s, if there was any. Of course, if you are not an employee, and you were injured in a car crash caused by a person who was on-the-job, then you should pursue a personal injury claim.
