Are Vehicle Fires Covered by Auto Insurance?

Whether or not vehicle fires are covered by your auto insurance depends on how the vehicle fire is caused. If the vehicle fire was caused by a collision with another vehicle, then you should be able to file a damage claim to your auto insurance or directly against the at-fault driver in the accident. However, if your vehicle fire was caused by a single-vehicle accident, the process may not be as straightforward.
