Can Both Drivers Be At-Fault in a Two-Vehicle Crash?
Yes, it is possible. When more than one party is responsible for causing a vehicular crash, then you may be dealing with a possible comparative fault or contributory negligence situation. This can even evolve into a joint liability. The party who will be determining this is not you, however, but the investigators involved – both from the law enforcement agencies and insurance providers. Any kind of shared liabilities, regardless of percentages, will affect the number of damages that you are awarded.
