In the spirit of giving back to the community, the Adamson Ahdoot Outreach team joined forces with the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) for their latest effort in November. Together, they were able to make sure vital resources were given out for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week to those most in need.

On Monday, November 20th, Adamson Ahdoot headquarters turned into an assembly line of compassion. A dedicated team of about 15 AA Law Outreach team members came together to advocate for and aid those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. This initiative focused on assembling toiletry kits for women in the LA area. These items comprised travel-size essentials, from shampoo and conditioner to body wipes and fresh socks. These are vital items that can make a substantial difference in the lives of those striving for personal stability.

The team’s commitment and generosity truly embody the essence of giving back. Through their volunteerism and dedication, Adamson Ahdoot has demonstrated the potential for collective action to effect meaningful change. By partnering with the DWC, they’ve made a tangible impact on the lives of women in the LA area. This work epitomizes the notion of giving back and creating genuine change in their community.

Adamson Ahdoot is proud to support the DWC’s goals centered on housing, wellness, employment, and advocacy.

Who is Downtown Women’s Center?

Dedicated to uplifting the LA community, the Downtown Women’s Center provides a comprehensive range of resources. It seeks to reduce barriers and end homelessness for women, including female veterans and their families. Women with severe physical and mental health concerns and survivors of domestic violence can also seek help here.

Established in 1978, the DWC holds the distinction of being the first permanent supportive housing provider for women in the United States. It stands out as the sole organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to supporting and empowering women and gender-diverse individuals experiencing homelessness.
