October 15, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

California Highway Patrol received information that on Monday, October 12th, 2020, a 69-year-old woman was found dead after a car struck her on Interstate 5, near Sabodan Street. The incident was reported at around 7:00 p.m. The woman was also carrying her own vehicle, which she left shortly after parking it on the road shoulder. It is unknown why she did this, but immediately afterward, she walked into the traffic lanes and was hit by a Dodge Ram that was heading southward. Although emergency medical aid was administered, the woman did not survive her severe injuries. Initial investigation of the accident found that alcohol may be a cause of the accident.
