Semi-Trailer Crash Reported in Santa Clarita
A semi-trailer carrying fuel was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Santa Clarita on Monday, December 28th. Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol were the first responders at the scene. The incident happened just before 8:00 a.m. on 14 Freeway, near Soledad Canyon Road.
The semi-trailer was reported to have crashed into a median strip, leaving a fuel spill of about 50 gallons on the road. The driver of the semi-trailer was also injured and was sent to the hospital for treatment. Due to the spill, all lanes of 14 Freeway were temporarily closed while clean up was underway. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
