November 15, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

A multi-vehicle crash was reported to occur on Sunday, November 1st in San Mateo. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The crash happened around Sunday evening between Highway 1 and Whitehouse Canyon Road. At least one person was injured from the crash after they were thrown out of the vehicle due to the crash’s impact. A medical helicopter was dispatched to evacuate the victim. It is yet to be known how many people were injured in the crash. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Can You Reject Air Ambulance Following An Automobile Accident?

It is possible, but only if you are conscious. If you were not conscious after a car accident, then medical personnel at the field will decide whether or not to call a helicopter to air transport you to the nearest hospital. However, after you are awake, it is possible to dispute these charges if you believe that air transport was not necessary. You must be prepared for a legal battle if you choose to pursue this line of action, however.
