Pineapple Semi-Truck Caught on Fire at I-5
A semi-truck that was traveling on the I-5 suddenly caught fire on Thursday, October 29th. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The semi-truck was transporting pineapples at around 7:00 p.m. when their tire suddenly caught on fire. The fire was quite severe and ended up causing a minor brush fire. It is unknown what may have caused the fire to ignite. Several lanes of I-5 near Grapevine Road were closed while cleanup and investigation were underway.
