If A Pedestrian Dies of A Car Accident, Who Can File A Wrongful Death Claim?

Generally, if a pedestrian was found dead following a car accident, the party who has the right to pursue a wrongful death claim is the next living kin or the benefactor of their estates. The claim can then be submitted against the at-fault driver’s auto insurance provider, or in the event that they do not own one, be submitted directly against the at-fault driver. It is advised to consult a lawyer before you choose to file a wrongful death claim. We can connect you with one of our experienced car accident lawyers for a free consultation, which is available by calling us at (800) 310-1606.
