A hit-and-run incident was reported Saturday, December 19th in Bakersfield. Bakersfield Police Department is leading an investigation into the case. A pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle between Texas Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The pedestrian was severely injured and died not long after receiving treatment in the hospital. The culprit fled the scene and has yet to be found by the authorities.
