One Person Found Dead in Castaic Crash
A fatal traffic incident was reported in Castaic on Saturday, January 23rd. California Highway Patrol was one of the first responders present at the scene. The incident happened on The Old Road, near Oak Valley Road just after 1:00 p.m. A vehicle was found at the scene in an overturned state. It was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Two people were found at the scene. One of them has already passed away when the authorities arrived at the scene. The other survived with severe injuries and is receiving treatment at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. The deceased victim was identified as Benjamin Marquez IV, age 31, a resident of Castaic.
