Man Dead in San Diego Single-Vehicle Crash

A single-vehicle crash was reported on Thursday, December 24th in San Diego. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The incident happened on the I-5 near Basilone Road at around 5:00 a.m. The vehicle, a Toyota 4Runner, was found to have rolled over after the driver lost control of the steering. The driver, a 40-year-old man from Los Angeles, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. He was found outside of his vehicle after he was ejected during the crash. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
