Family Injured in Crash While Walking in Sidewalk
A father and his two children were struck by an errant vehicle on Sunday, December 27th in Woodland Hills. Los Angeles Fire Department were the first responders at the scene. The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m. near Ventura Boulevard. The family was walking on the sidewalk when a car that was involved in a two-vehicle crash with another vehicle, suddenly went careening towards them. The two vehicles involved were sedans – a blue and silver one. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Can You File A Personal Injury Claim on Behalf of a Minor?
Yes, you can, assuming you are a family member or the legal guardian of the minor. Minors or people who are under the age of majority cannot file a claim themselves, but you can. The process of filing a claim on behalf of a minor after a car accident may not be entirely similar to the process done for an adult, however. If you want to contact an attorney to get a second opinion on your car accident case, call us today at (800) 310-1606 for a free consultation.
