Does It Matter If A Pedestrian Wasn’t Crossing the Road Properly?
In 2018, one in every four people who die in a traffic accident is a pedestrian. But what if the pedestrian was the one who was at fault? Let’s say that they were jaywalking and the motorist who struck them was unable to evade them. Is the motorist still the person who is most responsible for causing the incident to happen? Well, in most cases if the blame is fully attributed to the pedestrian, then you, as the motorist, are absolved of the blame. Proving this can be the challenge, however. If you are facing this kind of circumstance and would like to get some insight on your case from an experienced traffic accident lawyer, call us at (800) 310-1606 to get a free consultation today.
