Eight-Vehicle Collision Reported in 5 Freeway
On Sunday, October 25th, a multi-vehicle collision was reported to have taken place in Tustin on 5 Freeway. California Highway Patrol was one of the first responders at the scene. The crash happened at around 2:15 a.m., in the vicinity of Red Hill Avenue. At least four vehicles were initially involved in the crash, including a blue Porsche, a Honda sedan, and a Mini Cooper Countryman. However, by 4:30 a.m., partly due to the uncleaned crash debris still left over, an additional four vehicles were found damaged from the crash. One person amongst all the vehicle’s occupants was found injured and required further treatment at the hospital. Authorities are suspecting a possible DUI, which necessitated the administration of blood alcohol tests to the drivers involved.
