“Aquaman” Jason Momoa in Head-on Collision

Even superheroes can get into car accidents it seems.

At least, that’s what “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa found out this past weekend.

According to law enforcement documents, the 42-year-old actor collided head-on with a motorcycle in Calabasas, California while driving his gold restored vintage Oldsmobile 442.

Momoa was traveling on Old Topanga Canyon Road on Sunday, July 24th, when the motorcyclist crossed lanes while coming around a curve. Momoa’s vehicle and the motorcycle crashed into each other with the bike hitting the “left front end” hard enough to eject the rider from their seat.

The motorcycle’s driver, California native Vitaliy Avagimyan, reportedly struck Momoa’s windshield and was launched over the car’s hood, before landing on his feet in an incredible moment resembling one of the actor’s films.

The police report reads, “After the collision, Mr. Momoa exited his vehicle to assist Mr. Avagimyan and was able to flag down a passing motorist to call 9-1-1.”

Avagimyan was taken to Northridge hospital with “minor injuries,” which included a bruised leg and thumb injury. Momoa walked away uninjured from the collision.
