Our client was the helmeted rider of a motorcycle traveling southbound in lane #2 on Riverside Avenue through the intersection of Agua Mansa Road in Rialto, California. At the same time, the defendant driver, operating a vehicle traveling in the same direction as our client’s, made a sudden right turn in front of our client’s vehicle. Our client attempted to avoid the collision and slid on the pavement underneath the trailer of the defendant’s vehicle. The victim contacted Adamson Ahdoot to recover the damages in a motorcycle injury settlement.
The police officer at the scene found the defendant at fault for the collision. The accused driver was violating California Vehicle Code Section VC CVC 22350 (a) for driving at an unsafe speed.
The paramedics of the Rialto Fire Department evaluated our client at the site of the collision. They complained of pain all over their body. Physical examination showed abrasions over their left flank and bilateral legs, and a puncture wound in the right knee. Our client also had low oxygen saturation. As a result, the paramedics placed them on a heart monitor and began tracking their baseline vital signs.
The paramedics applied a C-collar to their neck and were transported with full spinal precautions to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center without an incident and transferred their care to the waiting emergency department staff. The victim immediately contacted Adamson Ahdoot to seek compensation for this motorcycle injury settlement.
