Woman Dead and Toddler Injured After Crash in East Hollywood
A single-vehicle crash was reported in East Hollywood on Monday, November 9th. California Highway Patrol is the first responder at the scene. A 2012 Hyundai Accent was being driven by a 23-year-old woman who lost control of her vehicle while driving north on 101 Freeway. She was accompanied by a two-year-old boy. Her vehicle hit the highway’s guardrail and struck a nearby mound. The accident happened just before 9:30 p.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The boy was injured and required hospital treatment for his wounds. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
