LA Multi-Collision Crash Sparked by Police Chase

November 4, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

Several vehicles were found to have been involved in a multi-collision crash on Friday, October 23rd. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is the lead investigator for this case. The accident took place in the middle of a police chase that ended on Normandie Avenue and West 37th Street. Though details of the crash are scarce, five people were found to be injured from the crash. They were found to be an LAPD officer of unknown age, a 1-year-old boy, a 40-year-old man, a 17-year-old girl, and another unidentified individual. This individual and the LAPD officer refused further medical treatment at the hospital, while all the other victims were immediately transported there. It is unknown whether the suspect being chased was also injured at the scene.

Can You File A Class Action Lawsuit for Personal Injury Claims?

Yes, you can. If you were part of a group of people who were injured from the same crash, like the people in the news story above, then you can pursue a class action personal injury claim. Although it should be able to make the process smoother than pursuing individual personal injury claims, you need to be aware of the different interests that each involved party may have when they enter the class action. It is absolutely crucial to contact a lawyer if you plan to make this legal move. Call us for a free consultation on your personal injury case, available 24/7 at (800) 310-1606.
