The accident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on Pruneridge Avenue and Kiely Boulevard. A pedestrian was hit by a car, which onlookers described as a silver Honda RAV4. The vehicle fled from the scene after the pedestrian was hit. It is unknown how badly hurt the unidentified pedestrian was. Authorities are currently looking into the circumstances of the accident.

What Should You As A Hit-and-Run Victim?

Just like any other car accident victims, you need to cooperate with the emergency officials at the scene. This may include firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement officers. The latter two would be the ones that you will coordinate with most at the scene. If you are still conscious, you may receive treatment either at the scene or at the nearest hospital. If paramedics advise you to go to a hospital, we believe you need to do this, especially if you have medical insurance. Law enforcement officials may also question you either at the scene or at the hospital – cooperate with them so that they can help you in arresting the hit-and-run perpetrator. You can also call a legal representative to talk about what legal options are available to you. We can help you with this.
