October 2, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

Several vehicles were involved in a collision on 405 Freeway on Thursday, September 22nd. California Highway Patrol is one of the authorities involved in the scene. At least three vehicles were implicated in the incident, including one pick-up truck. CHP received information about the crash from eyewitnesses near Normandie Avenue at around 3:30 a.m.

One car was overturned as a result, and one person died at the scene. The pickup truck was also badly damaged by the accident. It is unknown if there were anyone else who was injured. The majority of 405 Freeway’s lanes were closed for five hours during the investigation.

Can A Bystander Be Sued for Not Helping in a Car Accident?

It is possible. In fact, they can even be sued for helping. However, this claim is only possible under certain circumstances. For example, if they saw you being hit by a car accident and chose not to help but instead took photos and recorded the scene, then you have a possible cause to pursue a lawsuit. It is also possible to sue a bystander who helps the car accident perpetrator to get away.
