43-Year-Old Bicyclist Dead in Lamont
A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in Lamont on Sunday, December 13th. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The incident happened at about 12:40 a.m. on Di Giorgio Road, near Myrtle Avenue. The bicyclist, which was identified as a man aged 43 whose name was not disclosed by the authorities, was found dead at the scene. A Volkswagen Passat heading west hit the man on the back which caused his fatal injuries. It is unknown whether anyone else was injured from the crash. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
