A multi-vehicle crash was reported to have occurred on Monday, October 19th. California Highway Patrol received information about the crash at around 10:30 a.m. The crash took place on 55 Freeway near Garden Grove. At least three cars were involved in the accident, although the number of people injured is not yet known. Two cars tried to avoid an object on the road that they’re driving on, while another car ended up crashing the highway guardrail and went off-road into a nearby mound. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Several lanes of 55 Freeway were closed while clean up of the crash site was ongoing.

Can You File A Claim Against A Governmental Entity for A Car Accident?

Yes, you can. If you think that your car accident was caused by a governmental entity, be it on the local, state, or federal level, then you can pursue a personal injury claim against them. Thus, you are directing your personal injury claim not on the individual responsible for the accident, but directly to their employer, which is the government. However, if you choose to pursue this legal avenue, you need to consult an attorney beforehand since the process can be more complex than a personal injury case against an individual or even an insurance provider.
