At the same time, the defendant was driving east on Telegraph Road approaching the intersection of Laurel Avenue. As our clients proceeded through the intersection, the defendant ran a red light, causing an accident to the driver’s side of our client’s vehicle.
Upon impact, our client’s vehicle sideswiped another car. This resulted in a three-car accident. The police officer on the scene found the defendant at fault for the collision, in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 21801 (a) VC, for making a left turn and failing to yield the right of way. As a result of this red light accident, our client’s vehicle was left disabled on a Santa Fe Springs street.
Our clients experienced pain and bruising all over their bodies. In particular, they experienced pain in their jaw, back, neck, and legs. One of the victims suffered from head trauma and had cuts that needed stitches.
