Our client was a visitor at an indoor water park in Garden Grove, California. The plaintiff was standing in three separate lines in line, waiting to go down a slide. However, at some point, they decided not to proceed. Our client then walked barefoot back down the stairs, which were full of people. The victim ended up slipping on a wet step. As a result, our client fell sixteen (16) steps down the stairs, suffering severe personal injury at the water park ride line.
While trying to avoid the fall, the victim broke their arm and hit their left side. As a result of this incident, our client sustained severe and debilitating injuries.
As discussed, the defendant’s negligence and failure to exercise ordinary care to keep the premises and accessories in a reasonably good and safe condition, actually and proximately caused our client’s resulting injuries.
The plaintiff went to the emergency room at Garden Grove Hospital & Medical Center. They were treated and evaluated for the personal injury sustained at the water park as a result of the slip and fall incident.
Our client was experiencing pain in their left arm and leg. Physical examination revealed tenderness to palpation, swelling, light bruising, and tightness in the left forearm. The victim suffered a fractured femur, a broken left arm, and bruised thigh and back.
