September 14, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On September 10th, 2020, a 2010 Cadillac Escalade and a 2000 Ford Expedition collided against each other in Georgetown County, around U.S. 521. The driver of the Cadillac and a passenger from the Ford, a female child, died from their injuries. The female child was identified to be the youngest daughter of Jimmy Nolan, a local high school football coach in Costa Mesa. His wife was driving the Ford with both of their daughters, and the collision happened while it was traveling in the wrong direction. Nolan was in California when he received the news. Authorities are still investigating the identity of the driver of the Cadillac.

Was Your Child Injured in a Car Crash?

According to IIHS, vehicle crashes are the leading cause of deaths for children under the age of 13. Even if you take precautions when driving with your children, you can’t predict what might happen on the road. With this in mind, understand that like many other victims injured in vehicle crashes, you can file a personal injury claim on behalf of your child. Whether you are successful in your legal pursuit depends on the circumstances of your child’s accident.
