Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sex Crimes

In late 2023, the empire of one of hip-hop’s most recognizable names began to unravel. Lawsuits filed by alleged victims accused Combs of multiple sex scandals. The performer and music producer, a legend in the music world, began to face a series of outrageous rape and sexual abuse allegations that ended with federal agents raiding his homes.

Combs’ Ex-girlfriend Cassie Sued Him in November

The first lawsuit came from singer Casandra Ventura, who dated Combs for 11 years. The artist, also known as Cassie, filed a civil suit against the music titan, alleging various sex crimes. Cassie accused Diddy of rape, sexual assault, and sex trafficking stemming from incidents that took place between 2007 and 2018. The complaint cites “dark times” in which the singer was “held down by Mr. Combs and endured over a decade of his violent behavior and disturbed demands.”

Some of Cassie’s reported allegations include:

  • Being raped after she tried to end the relationship.
  • Frequent physical assaults with bodily injury.
  • Forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes.
  • Pushing her into a life of excessive alcohol and drug abuse.

In addition to Combs, Cassi also sued Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records, Epic Records, and Combs Enterprises LLC. The victim was seeking more than $30 million. The lawsuit was settled days after it was filed.

Joi Dickerson-Neal Accused Combs of Drugging and Raping After Dinner

A week after the Casandra Ventura lawsuit, Combs’ legal troubles continued. As we reported in our November monthly round-up, a college student sued Combs for drugging and raping her in 1991. Joi Dickerson-Neal also accused Combs of videotaping the sexual assault and distributing the tape without her consent. The lawsuit alleges that the singer pressured her into a date, drugged her to the point that she could not even walk, and then sexually assaulted her.

Liza Gardner was the Third Victim to File a Sexual Assault Complaint

The same week Dickerson-Neal filed her complaint, a woman identified as Liza Gardner also went to the authorities. Gardner was the third person to file a sexual abuse complaint, alleging that Combs and R&B singer Aaron Hall sexually assaulted and strangled her.

Jane Doe, Allegedly Raped by Combs When She Was a Minor

For the fourth time in three weeks, another woman has filed a lawsuit against the rapper. In one of the most shocking cases, the plaintiff claims she was sexually assaulted by Combs, who “gang raped” her when she was 17 years old. The woman, Jane Doe, claims the events occurred in 2003 when she was a high school student. At the time, Combs was 34 years old. The victim also named Harve Pierre, the president of Bad Boy Records at the time, and another unidentified perpetrator as culprits.

The details of the lawsuit are once again shocking. The lawsuit states that Pierre forced her to perform oral sex and then coerced her to travel on a private jet to meet Combs and another person. When they arrived at the destination, they drugged and intoxicated her until she was unconscious and then assaulted her.

Producer Rodney Jones Jr. Also Accuses Combs of Sexual Assault

In 2023, rapper Combs released a new R&B album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” which was nominated for a Grammy. The album was produced by Rodney Jones, among others. The music producer, also known as Lil Rod, is the latest to sue Combs. In February, Jones alleged that Combs committed serious illegal acts and sexually assaulted him. In addition to being involved in a shooting, Lil Rod states that Combs inappropriately touched him, drugged him, and forced him to have sex with prostitutes in front of him. Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. was also named in the lawsuit.

Where is Combs Now?

As a result of an extensive federal investigation stemming from sex trafficking and sexual assault lawsuits filed in recent months, Homeland Security agents conducted two police raids on Combs’ primary residences in late March.

The Department of Homeland Security reported the raids were related to an “ongoing investigation.” Various law enforcement sources working on the case stated that evidence was being sought against Puff Daddy as part of a sex trafficking investigation. The media has already compared Combs’ case with Jeffrey Epstein’s for their similarities.

Despite efforts to arrest Sean Combs, authorities could not find the hip-hop star at either residence. Some sources suggest that the singer is a fugitive from justice.

Other Celebrity Sex Crimes

In recent years, more and more celebrities have been in the news for sex scandals. Now, Combs joins the list of famous people who have been accused of committing sex crimes. Just this month, allegations have been made against Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, music executive Antonio “LA” Reid, and former Grammy director Neil Portnow.

Unfortunately, many sexual assault victims assume that no one will believe them. Especially if the perpetrator is a celebrity. However, this is not the case. Today, more and more victims of sexual crimes are speaking out to demand justice against their attackers.

The list of celebrities who have been accused and convicted of sexual abuse is long. Some of them are:

  • Harvey Weinstein, Hollywood movie magnate. He was convicted of raping more than 80 women and sentenced to 23 years in prison.
  • Dani Alves, former Barcelona soccer player. He was sentenced to four years and six months for sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub.
  • Danny Masterson, television actor. Masterson was imprisoned for 30 years for two rape convictions.
  • R. Kelly, an R&B singer, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking, sexual misconduct, and child pornography.
