The incident happened just past 6:00 p.m. on Stockdale Highway. A female pedestrian was found dead at the scene after a vehicle hit her. She was carrying a dog who survived the crash. The driver remained at the scene, and neither alcohol nor drug intoxication was ruled as a factor in the crash. Authorities are still looking into what may have caused the incident to transpire.
