September 24, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On Monday, September 21st, a single-vehicle crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. in Santa Clara on Monroe Street. A car that was traveling between Brown Avenue and Francis Avenue crashed into a nearby utility pole. The accident severely injured the driver. Paramedics arrived at the scene to transport the driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The car crash also caused major damage to the utility pole. A temporary blackout ensued as a result. More than 600 people in the area were affected. Silicon Valley Power managed to restore power within three hours to the majority of its customers.

What Legal Actions Can You Take Against A Negligent Driver?

If you or your loved one was involved in a car accident, you should know that you have several legal actions that you can choose to pursue against the driver.

If you were physically injured or experienced psychological distress due to the accident, you can file a personal injury claim against the driver. If any of your belongings were also damaged in the process, then you can file a property damage claim. If your loved one died in a car accident, you can file a wrongful death claim.

You should contact an attorney to get further information on how to start any of these claims. If you’d like a free consultation from one of our attorneys, you can call us at (866) 698-2306.
