On Friday, September 25th, a solo vehicle accident was reported on Long Beach. The incident was estimated to have taken place around 6:30 p.m. The only occupant of the vehicle, the driver, died at the scene. Long Beach Police Department is the lead investigator in the case. The driver was identified as Favian Esquivias, an 18-year-old man. He was driving his car, a 2002 Subaru WRX as he heads south on Cherry Avenue. Suddenly, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median divider before eventually striking a tree. The cause of the accident is yet to be discovered.
