$500K Recovered for Car Collision

Our client was the restrained operator of a vehicle traveling northbound on Road 152 near the intersection of Avenue 224 in an unincorporated city of Tulare County, California. At the same time, the defendant was operating a white-colored vehicle directly behind our client’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. This was the primary cause of this Tulare car accident.

Our client stopped their vehicle for the traffic ahead. Simultaneously, the defendant driver failed to stop in time and collided with the rear of our client’s vehicle. Upon impact, our client struck their head on the headrest and their chest on the dashboard.

The police officer on the scene found the defendant at fault for the Tulare car accident in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 22350 CVC for driving at an unsafe speed.

Our client complained of headaches and pain in the neck, chest, and lower back. Our client rated their pain as 7/10. Physical examination revealed spasms and tenderness to palpation in their cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Additionally, they had tenderness in their chest and decreased range of motion in their cervical spine.
