Our clients were passengers in a vehicle that was rear-ended while traveling southbound on Highway 101 in San Francisco, California. At the time, the defendant was operating a dump truck at a high rate of speed. The plaintiff was driving in the right lane when the defendant, who was proceeding in the left lane, suddenly merged lanes. As a result, the accused driver slammed into the rear of our client’s vehicle. As a consequence of this rear end car accident, our plaintiff’s vehicle sustained extensive damage.
In addition, our clients suffered multiple injuries as a result of the rear end car accident by the negligent driver in San Francisco. These included back, neck, and right shoulder pain, as well as brain and neck trauma. One of our clients complained of headaches and pain in his lower back, chest, and legs.
Our defendant rated the severity of his headaches as 5/10 and his back pain as 8/10. They also reported lower back spasms, dizziness, nervousness, fatigue, and irritability. Physical examination revealed a painful and decreased range of motion in their lumbar spine.
