Our client was stopped at the intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and Clemson Street in Los Angeles, California. The plaintiff was in the left turn lane northbound on La Cienega. Our client was driving their personal vehicle at the time of the head on crash.
At that moment, the defendant, who was traveling south on La Cienega, swerved to the left. The defendant crossed into our client’s lane. This caused a violent head on crash with our client’s car. The violent impact caused by the defendant caused the plaintiff’s car to spin 180 degrees. As a result, both vehicles sustained serious damage.
Immediately after the collision, the plaintiff began to feel severe pain in their head and body. Our client was also in a state of shock. Therefore, the defendant had to pull them out of the car.
During the impact, the victim’s chest struck the steering wheel and shards of glass from the windshield came into contact with it. In addition, the plaintiff’s face struck their head and face, causing them to bleed profusely. At the deposition, the plaintiff testified that they believed their knees had hit the dashboard very hard because of the intense pain that followed.
