What Can You Do if You Were Involved in A Car Accident with an Uninsured Driver?
If you live in California, this generally wouldn’t be an issue since all vehicle owners must have auto-insurance with minimum liability coverage according to applicable state regulations. However, in the event that your car accident involves an out-of-state vehicle owner where auto-insurance ownership is not mandatory, you must prepare to file a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver. We recommend this course of action even when you already have your own auto insurance.
Remember, you were not the person responsible for the accident yet you choose to use your auto insurance to cover the costs incurred due to the incident, you will face higher insurance premiums in the months to follow. If you’ve decided to take legal action and would like us to provide you with the necessary assistance to pursue a personal injury claim, you can call us at (877) 871-3265 for a free consultation, available 24/7.
