On Monday, September 21st, a car collision occurred around 1:00 a.m. in San Jose. The accident took place between the crossroads of 3rd Street and E. Taylor Street. San Jose Police Department was the first responder at the scene. A police SUV and a black Honda sedan were involved in the incident. The sedan struck a stop sign and continued its trajectory before it crashed the patrol vehicle. The driver of the sedan and the police officer inside the SUV were both injured. The severity of their injuries is not yet known. However, both vehicles were heavily damaged from the accident. Police are still investigating whether alcohol or drug use was a factor in causing the incident.
