How Do You Claim Property Damages from Police Pursuit-Related Crash?

While property damages claim in car accidents is usually quite straightforward, the norm doesn’t usually apply for police-related crashes. Since the party involved includes the suspect and the police, you can try to file a property claim against either of them. But if the suspect doesn’t provide their insurance provider information, you will not be able to file a claim. Law enforcement officials are generally exempt from liabilities in a police pursuit if it was done according to the applicable regulation. However, if you think that the law enforcement officials involved were being negligent to public safety while pursuing the suspect, you have the right to file a suit.
