Multi-Vehicle Crash in Bellflower Killed One Person and Injured Three Others

October 2, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

A multi-vehicle crash was reported to have taken place on Friday, September 25th at around 2:00 a.m in Bellflower. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The crash location was found to be in the vicinity of Lakewood Boulevard. Although the number of vehicles involved is yet to be released by the authorities, one person was found dead at the scene while three other individuals were injured enough to require hospitalization.

One of the vehicles involved, which was thought to have crashed into one of the victims, fled from the scene. While being interviewed by media outlets, CHP personnel Greg Makel mentioned that there has been an increase in vehicles that broke the imposed speed limits and reminded citizens to be more careful while on the road.

What Should You Do if You Were Injured in A Multi-Vehicle Incident?

First of all, you need to make sure that you receive the medical treatments you require for any injuries that you sustain from the accident. Then, you need to exchange contact information with the drivers involved. This would make it easier if you need for your insurance claim later on. Don’t forget to cooperate with the authorities on the scene.

If later on, you feel that a personal injury claim needs to be filed against the driver who is most liable, you should contact a lawyer. Don’t take too long to decide on this course of action.
