On September 28th, 2020, a car accident occurred in Koreatown. The Los Angeles Police Department was the first responder at the scene. The car, a Toyota Camry, was reported to have crashed into a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Eyewitnesses at the scene informed LAPD that the accident took place between Olympic Boulevard and Vermont Avenue just after 2.00 a.m. The driver was identified as a 20-year-old man. Investigators haven’t yet ruled out the possibility of alcohol or drug intoxication as a cause of the accident.

What Usually Causes Drivers to Lose Control of Vehicle?

A survey done by NHTSA found that recognition errors, such as inattention and distraction, are commonplace experiences found in drivers who experienced a car crash. Thus, we can assume that most car crashes are preventable if the drivers put their full attention into what’s in front of them. If you are a victim in a car crash and you aren’t quite sure whether to file a personal injury claim or not against the at-fault driver, your next step should be determined on whether the driver’s negligence was the main cause of the injuries and damages that you experience.
