Fourth Time the Charm for Adamson Ahdoot Outreach Team and Water Drop LA

The Adamson Ahdoot Outreach team is back! In partnership with Water Drop LA, they’ll celebrate their fourth collaboration together on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Water Drop LA is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit community organization started in 2020. They’ve been working towards providing clean drinking water to people experiencing homelessness and other communities facing water insecurity.

WDLA has been a vital lifeline for those in need, distributing over 2,000 gallons of water every week to the Skid Row community. Additionally, they have supported partner organizations across Southern California to help meet the needs of the community in other areas. Adamson Ahdoot’s outreach team has been fortunate enough to be a part of this noble effort since August of last year.

In fact, the AA Law Outreach team celebrated its one-year anniversary during its third collaboration with Water Drop LA in May 2023. The event served as a tribute to all the work the outreach team had done over the previous year. This includes the drive with Water Drop LA to make drinking water accessible to all Angelenos.

Fourth Time is the Charm

During this latest collaboration, AA Law will continue to support WDLA. They’ll provide their unwavering support for the Water Drop LA team by distributing clean water and other necessities. But after that first event, Water Drop LA founder Aria Cataño shared her thoughts on Adamson Ahdoot’s participation.

“We welcome the hands-on engagement of firms like Adamson Ahdoot during this critical time. Every person and every organization plays a crucial role in this effort, and we believe that no person, regardless of their housing status, should go without access to clean drinking water: the most fundamental human need,” Cataño expressed.

She and those at Water Drop LA believe that access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, and their mission is to make that possible for everyone. They believe that legislative advocacy must be accompanied by a swift response to critical necessities. This is among the chief reasons AA Law continues to support its efforts; because the work is not done.

Water Drop LA currently accepts donations of food, clothing, bedding, toiletries, PPE, unused hygiene products, gear like tents, tarps, thermal blankets, and sleeping bags. WDLA’s social media channels update frequently with the exact date for donations. All supplies are provided during the weekly water distributions every Sunday from 11-2 p.m. Also, all ages are welcome, so get involved today!
