A vehicle struck a female pedestrian in Santa Ana on Friday, September 11th at around 11 a.m. The incident occurred around 2200 W. 1st Street. She was crossing the road when the vehicle crashed into her. Santa Ana Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority were the authorities present at the scene. The victim was immediately transported to the nearest local hospital. However, she was pronounced dead before receiving medical treatment. The accident occurred around 1st Street, and the driver was questioned on the scene by the authorities. The driver tested negative for inebriation. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
