Partner

Austin G. Ward is a Partner at Adamson Ahdoot. He represents plaintiffs in a variety of complex civil cases. These involve claims of personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and pharmaceutical-related injuries. Prior to joining Adamson Ahdoot LLP, Mr. Ward honed his trial skills with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. There, he secured hundreds of convictions and restitutions for victims. During this time, he also handled a fraud special assignment.

Mr. Ward prides himself in helping victims pursue their legal rights and obtain full and complete compensation from insurance carriers, corporate entities, and government agencies that engage in malicious and negligent conduct. Specifically, he focuses on holding these entities accountable for their actions. Throughout his career, Mr. Ward has successfully recovered over 100 million dollars in jury awards and settlements for his clients throughout Southern California, despite receiving denials of responsibility in almost every case.

These cases have included truck and automobile collisions, construction site injuries, defective products, and dangerous conditions of property. Mr. Ward has helped those grieving the loss of a loved one. He has also assisted those suffering amputation of limbs and those enduring the confusion and distress of a brain injury. Additionally, he has supported clients crippled by nerve impingement and chronic pain. Through his efforts, he has helped them recapture compensation for their loss and optimize their potential for recovery.

Austin G. Ward has been recognized by legal publications and organizations for his dedication to the law and his clients. Mr. Ward has repeatedly been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in California. In 2017, he was a finalist for the coveted Consumer Attorney of California (CAOC) Streetfighter of the Year Award for helping a woman who had fled violence in Guatemala to stay in the United States.

In 2013, Mr. Ward completed an internship with the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Subsequently, Mr. Ward received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law with honors as Dean’s Merit Scholar and recipient of the Terry M. Giles Award. In addition, Mr. Ward is also a member of the Order of the Barristers. In law school, Mr. Ward was Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary. While participating in interschool moot court and mock trial teams, Mr. Ward won multiple national and international competitions, receiving the highest honors and multiple individual awards for his oral and written advocacy. Finally, during his final year of law school, Mr. Ward was honored with the 2013 “Top Gun” award, given to the top 16 student trial advocates in the nation.

He is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice law throughout California. Additionally, he is a member of several consumer advocacy organizations and bar associations in California.

Mr. Ward is a proud father and husband. He volunteers as the head coach for a high school mock trial team in Ventura County. Moreover, he enjoys trail running in the Santa Monica Mountains on weekends.
