$200K Mediated Settlement for Bicycle Collision

Our client was the helmeted bicyclist riding northbound through the crosswalk. They were traveling west on Franklin Street and crossing California Street in Mountain View, California. At the same time, the defendant was driving their vehicle westbound on California Street through the intersection of Franklin Street. The defendant’s subsequent distraction resulted in the victim being hit by a car, which led to a $200K settlement for a bike accident.
