Can You Sue DUI Drivers As A Family Member of the Victim?

This may be possible to do, depending on the situation. If the victim is underaged, then if you are the victim’s guardian or parent, then you have the right to take legal action on their behalf. You can also do this on the victim’s behalf if they have transferred their power of attorney. There may be other situations where you can sue on the victim’s behalf after a DUI car accident.
